Position Description

Cardiology Nurse Practitioner - North Carolina, Weekend Nights

Inpatient cardiology locums near Raleigh; weekend-only nights with full travel coverage included.


Highlights:

  • Friday-Sunday nights (7p-7a)
  • No procedures; round and consult only
  • PRN-friendly schedule; consistent weekend shifts


Practice Setting:

  • Inpatient cardiology consult service
  • Work alongside Interventional and Non-Invasive MDs
  • ED and hospitalist support team available
  • Adults only


Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour night shifts: Friday-Sunday
  • Ongoing weekend blocks available
  • No weekday requirements


Cases and Procedures:

  • ~15 total patients per night (10 rounding, 5 consults)
  • No procedures
  • Consults and rounding only


Requirements:

  • Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Active North Carolina license (IMLC not accepted)
  • BLS and DEA required
